How to roasted asparagus

Roasted asparagus is an easy and delicious dish to accompany any meal. Plus it’s on Dr. Sears’ best of the best list when it comes to veggies since its rich in fermentable fiber and polyphenols. It can be the perfect addition to a weeknight meal or something to wow your guests with when you are entertaining on the weekends. With a prep time of 5 minutes, a bake time of 20 and something the whole family will enjoy, you can’t go wrong!

Rinse + Chop + Bake + Eat

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Rinse the asparagus thoroughly and allow to air dry or pat dry with paper towels.
  3. Chop about 1-1.5 inches off the ends of your asparagus and place on a baking sheet.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat. Season with salt, pepper or spices of your choosing.
  5. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes (thicker asparagus might require a few extra minutes).
  6. Serve and Enjoy!
