Ipswich Ale Cask & Clam Week is a week-long series of events celebrating Ipswich's clamming & brewing culture, culminating with the "Ipswich Ale Cask & Clam Fest" on Ipswich's Riverwalk, Saturday, May 19th, 12-6pm. The fest will feature live music, beer and food trucks, a seafood & beer tasting area with 7 local restaurants, and activities for all ages! The event is free admission, pay as you consume. All proceeds will be donated to our nonprofit partners, The Green Crab R&D Project and the Ipswich River Watershed Association.

Monday, May 14th, 7-9pm
Come hear true tales of bloody brawls, scandalous romance, and nasty girl-fights, all ripped from yesterday's headlines at "Tales at the Table". Tickets include a souvenir mug along with two beers, a hearty tavern dinner, plus stories of Ipswich's past told by a noted local historian, AND endless sea shanties sung by the Portermen!

Join Ipswich Town Historian, Gordon Harris, on a journey through the history of the Ipswich and our waterways. Photos and history will be shared from the 19th and 20th Century, followed by an open discussion.
$10 ticket includes admission to event with programming planned by Gordon Harris, one drink ticket (valid for beer, soda, iced tea, lemonade, or coffee), and a light appetizer. Additional drinks and food are available for purchase (cash or credit).
History & Hops Slideshow Tickets
Our popular Breakfast for Dinner Night is back and this time with a special edition Cask & Clam Week menu! Starting at 4pm, our regular dinner menu will be scrapped, and a delicious array of breakfast foods will be available to order. Labor in Vain will also be in the house for a special night of live music from 7-10pm. There is no cover for this event and seating is first come-first served.

Thursday, May 17th
Orville Giddings & Friends
Local legend Orville Giddings will be playing a mix of "tasty" blues, country, folk, and jazz with his acoustic trio.
Friday, May 18th
Gloucester natives, Live Dead, will be playing and evening of Grateful Dead covers!
Visit the Private Dining Room at the Ipswich Ale Brewer's Table now through Saturday, May 19 to view a series of pastel oil paintings of clammers by Susan Ellis. Susan, an Ipswich resident, focuses primarily on still life and figures and she's been painting for over 25 years. Prints and the paintings on display will be available for purchase and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to our nonprofit partners, Green Crab R&D Project and the Ipswich River Watershed Association.
