Welcome to Hampton Beach

From fantastic fireworks every week, 18 in all, to 80 free summer concerts, Hampton Beach has something for everyone. Come marvel at the Masters of Sand Sculpting in June, find out who will be Miss Hampton Beach 2018 in July, show off your talent at the annual Hampton Beach Talent competition, or feel like a kid again in August and join us to see off the end of the season with our famous Seafood Festival in September.

But please, don’t sit around waiting for these and other special events! Because everyone knows that any day of the week Hampton Beach is a great beach and a whole lot more!

Sea Shell Stage Nightly Shows

Every night during the summer there is entertainment on the Sea Shell Stage.  With over 80 shows featuring music from the 50’s – 90’s and beyond, you’ll be pleased with the variety of bands who perform on stage, inviting everyone to dance in front of the stage.  There are two shows each night. The first show is from 7-8 p.m. and the second show is from 8:30-9:30 p.m. Come down and get nostalgic with the music of your generation, or enjoy Country Night on Thursdays. Best of all, it’s fun for all ages and everyone will enjoy the music. Don’t forget your dancing shoes.

Miss Hampton Beach Pageant

Come watch talented entertainers compete for cash prizes. 1st $1,000, 2nd $500, 3rd $300

Limited to Vocalist in one of two categories. (Junior & Senior)

Children's Events

Childrens weekThere is no better place to be a kid than at Hampton Beach!

That’s especially true during one week from August 13th to 17th when the Hampton Beach Children’s Festival returns to delight the young and young at heart again. Magic shows, puppets, storytellers, contests and much more are just a prelude to the main event, a huge costume parade down Ocean Boulevard, to the Seashell Stage where everyone gets a prize!

But please don’t wait for that special week in August, because there’s something for the whole family going on at Hampton Beach every day of the week during the sizzling summer season. That’s because Hampton Beach has great things for kids and a whole lot more!


Monday, August 13 through Friday, August 17, 2018

The Annual Hampton Beach Children’s Festival is the family fun event of the summer, kicking off on Monday, August 14th with a magic show by BJ Hickman on the famous Hampton Beach Seashell Stage at 10 a.m., and building up to a Giant Costume Parade that marches almost the length of Hampton Beach on Friday, August 18th. Every child gets a prize just for being a part of it!

kidsEach day will be a blockbuster, filled with non-stop activity and entertainment, including mini-golf, a Ronald McDonald show, free ice cream, dancing, story tellers, balloons, and more. There’s even a kids’ bumper sticker contest.

Seafood Festival

Seafood FestivalThe 29th Annual Seafood Festival will take place on the weekend of September 7-9,
2018. This event has been rated one of the Top 100 Events in North America by the
American Bus Association. Featuring 50 of the Seacoast’s top restaurants offering their
very best seafood dishes, continuous entertainment, end-of- season sidewalk sales, an
arts and crafts tent, a beer tent, lobster eating contest, Culinary Chef Demonstrations, a
spectacular fireworks display on the beach and more!

Come out and visit us as the summer season winds to a close!

Visit for details on times, entertainment schedule and participating exhibitors, free parking and shuttle schedules. Ocean Boulevard (Center Beach) is closed to traffic and becomes a pedestrian mall from the Marine Memorial (The Lady) to H Street to accommodate the anticipated 150,000+ visitors each day!

Sample the flavors of the seacoast at New England’s largest seaside festival. Over 50 restaurants join together, offering an extensive menu of seafood delicacies. Ata a Culinary Chef demo you can watch, sample, and learn from the area’s top chefs. Gala

Festivities include:

Over 60 Art & Craft dealers, 2 stages of entertainment, a 200 foot beer tent, sidewalk bargain sales, and an amazing display of fireworks on Saturday night. (Ocean Boulevard closed to traffic). Choose from favorites like lobster, shrimp, clams (steamed, broiled, barbecued or fried) to non-seafood items like “Bloomin’ Onion” and fried ice cream.

Continuous entertainment on 2 stages featuring some of the best local bands in the area – from Blues to Country, Rock & Roll and even a little Jazz.  Hospitality and more entertainment in our Beverage Tent serving Beer , wine and soft drinks.

Spectacular fireworks display – Saturday the 8th at 8 PM

Sidewalk Sales (end of season clearance-SAVE $$$$)

Craft Fair – Over 60 Crafts Persons displaying their wares!

Friday: $5.00; Saturday, $10.00; Sunday, $8.00. *A portion of Admission Proceeds go to
support the charities of the Knights of Columbus. Children under 12 are free of charge.
