About the Chef

Chef Stan particularly enjoys making fresh pasta dishes with light, delicate sauces and adding flare to classic Italian dishes using vibrant local ingredients. Stan also loves seasonal cooking and making fresh seafood stews, and is always adding native cuisine found on the Isle of Capri to the menu mix at Capri.Stan studied at the Culinary Arts and Business Management School at North Shore Community College and at Le Cordon Bleu for French Culinary & Hospitality Business Management. At the young age of 15, Stan began his culinary career at the Georgetown Country Club, followed by a position at the Sheraton Ferncroft in Danvers, Massachusetts. Before joining the Seaglass Restaurant team in 2010, Stan was a sous chef for the Marriott Hotels. From childhood, Stan was introduced to good cooking – his dad owned a seafood restaurant in Maine and his Italian mother taught him how to prepare some authentic family recipes.
